Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan komunikasi lingkungan pengelolaan sampah pada bank sampah di antara pemangku kepentingan di Kota Tangerang Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan perolehan data melalui observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Analisis data dilakukan dengan strategi explanation buildings, di mana peneliti mencoba mengonstruksi penjelasan tentang kasus dengan membuat pernyataan terkait fenomena yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa proses komunikasi lingkungan pada pengelolaan sampah di komunitas bank sampah antara pemangku kepentingan pendukungnya mempertemukan tiga kepentingan yaitu, pemerintah (Dinas Lingkungan Hidup), pengepul, dan komunitas bank sampah. Ketiga pemangku kepentingan tersebut akhirnya membentuk model komunikasi konvergen saling pengertian dan saling ketergantungan yang memosisikan bank sampah sebagai isu publik dalam pengelolaan sampah.
